The Diputación de Ourense and the Ruta del Viño del Ribeiro Association will cooperate to promote wine tourism and activities related to this modality, with the aim of disseminating the oenological, cultural, historical, gastronomic and tourist values ​​of one of the most important wine enclaves of Spain and its appellation of origin.

The Diputación showed interest in being part of the Wine Route and committed a destination in the budgets of 2018 a total of 30,000 euros so that this entity does not have problems of survival, to give an impulse and to collaborate in the activities of the association And to contribute thus to the enoturística promotion of the Ribeiro. In this sense, the President of the Diputación, Manuel Baltar, stressed that wine tourism “is a strategic area of ​​our economy and has to continue promoting initiatives that allow us to visualize the importance that Galicia and nationally and internationally wine production Ourense “.

The Ribeiro Wine Route Association is currently made up of more than 50 members, which make up a network of hotels, restaurants, lodging and commerce, along with institutions and tourist offices, which cover a wide range of Ribeiro wines.
