Activities

The Galician stand at the International Tourism Fair, Fitur, which will be held from 18 to 22 May in Madrid, will host the presentation of two of the projects launched in 2016 within the framework of the ideas contest of the Cluster Turismo Galicia with the aim of promoting the creation of new tourism products. The two brands launched in 2016 will be presented and will continue their development in 2017: Enoturismo Galicia and Galicia, Destino Familiar.

Conceived with the aim of improving the marketing and specialization of Destino Galicia, both projects will be present at the fair in a joint presentation that will take place next Thursday, January 19 at 11:30 am, with the participation of representatives of the Cluster Turismo Galicia and the Galician Wines`Routes, in the case of the Enoturismo de Galicia brand.

And it is that this brand, in which the five Galician wine routes are already involved, was born with the aim of promoting oenological tourism in our territory. Under one umbrella, the O Ribeiro, Ribeira Sacra, Rías Baixas, Monterrei and Valdeorras Wine Routes, after joining the Clúster Turismo de Galicia, work together to raise awareness of Galicia’s wine heritage and promote its commercialization through Enotouristic packages grouped under the name Emotions and that are already for sale through different travel agencies and the web http://www.enoturismoengalicia.com/.

Galician family brand
For its part, the Galicia Destino Family initiative is taking its first steps to be implemented as a seal during this 2017. Conceived to position Galicia as a destination for family tourism, the project includes an accreditation system aimed at enhancing the value of the offer aimed at this segment so that the consumer can identify tourist services and specialized Galician establishments that have facilities and activities designed and adapted for families. The requests to join this program are already open, with the aim of grouping this whole offer on the web and app of Galicia Destino Familiar (http://galiciadestinofamiliar.gal/)
