Activities

The Cluster collaborates in this initiative promoted by the Xunta, the Cixug and the three Galician universities.

A total of 250 young people between 18 and 30 years old will be able to participate in this training and mentoring programme, and thus improve their chances of finding employment.

The deadline for submitting applications is 10 March.

The third edition of the Xuventude Mentoring programme, launched by the Xunta de Galicia through the Department of Social Policy and Youth and the Consortium for the Development of University Management Applications (CIXUG) with the collaboration of the three Galician universities, is preparing to start with the opening of the application period.

Young people between 18 and 30 years old registered in the National Youth Guarantee System in Galicia who want to improve their skills and competences when looking for a job once they have finished their university or vocational training studies have until 10 March to register through the form on the website https://xuventudementoring.gal/inscricion/ and apply for one of the 250 places available. Age, work experience, academic record, belonging to groups that find it difficult to find employment and a personal interview are the criteria that will determine the selection of participants.

The initiative has the collaboration of around twenty companies, foundations, associations and various entities, including the Galicia Tourism Cluster. This third edition of Xuventude Mentoring will take place from April to June and will be structured around four main blocks: advice and support activities; mentoring activities; training activities; networking activities and visits to companies.

In the previous edition, participants were supported by two hundred mentors and enjoyed more than a dozen networking days and company visits, as well as 43 hours of training.
