Blockchain technology, which has its support in the new paradigm of human trust, the collaborative scenario, the crypto coins or token networks in the tourism industry will be some of the topics that will be addressed.

Fernando Gallardo, analyst of trends and new concepts in tourism, will give on Wednesday October 3 from 10:00 in Casa A Pedreira, the seminar “New tourist perspectives for Pontevedra from Blockchain technology”.
For Fernando Gallardo: “Tourism has anticipated many other human activities in the gradual process of substitution of the State by the network in the confidence of people. And so in recent years we have seen how the guarantee system of state hotel regulations has been replaced by the guarantee system of guests and users (TripAdvisor and other digital platforms) that raise the level of reliability in supply and demand. In the future it is very likely that all human relationships will base their system of trust on the digital network rather than on instruments of the analog era such as public administrations.

During a morning’s work we will analyze what Blockchain is and what it is for, introduction to block theory, the collaborative scenario: transparency and trust, intelligent contracts, farewell to apps, the future of digital crypto coins, token networks in the tourism industry and the Internet of Things in Blockchain.

The seminar is aimed at tourism entrepreneurs, hoteliers, restaurateurs, travel agents, informers and, in general, all professionals related to the tourism sector. Those interested in participating can find out more and register at https://bit.ly/2x1Tz6d
