Xosé Meirelles, the director of Tourism of Galicia, has participated in the Tourism Sector Conference, where the distribution of the Next Generation European funds among the Autonomous Communities has been approved.

The Xunta de Galicia will execute the Digital Skills Plan, with an investment of close to €2.5M, and a forecast of training 982 professionals in the sector by taking 150-hour courses.

A new call for the energy efficiency plan was also approved, eliminating the 30% energy saving requirements and adding photovoltaic energy to the subsidy. Of this item, coming from the European Union, Galicia will manage €5.5M.
