Sustainable tourism, wine tourism and the international experiences of other countries as a path towards the internationalization of Portuguese tourism were the main themes around the International Tourism Days that the Portuguese municipality of Águeda hosted last week in its Center of Arts. In them, the Galician tourism sector was also present, with the participation of the Secretary of the Tourism Cluster of Galicia, Cesáreo Pardal, who took part in a round table together with other cases of successful internationalization of the tourism offer such as Cape Verde through Carla Carvalhal, Tourism Minister of the Municipal Chamber of Sal (Cape Verde), and Ana Barber, President of Cabo Verde TradeInvest.

Cesareo Pardal participated in the conference with a lecture on the internationalization of tourism through public-private cooperation, which served to publicize the work initiated by the Tourism Cluster of Galicia to publicize the Galician tourism offer under the umbrella brand Destino Galicia, establishing a fluid cooperation with the public administration and promoting the participation of the private sector in the most important international fairs for the sector such as the ITB of Berlin or the WTM of London. The conference also addressed other topics such as cooperation between Brazil and Portugal or travel blogs
