The Gastronomic Forum A Coruña has closed its third edition surpassing the number of visitors with more than 24,000 people who throughout the three days have passed through the facilities of ExpoCoruña, confirming once again the consolidation of the event in Galicia and A Coruña.

150 speakers have carried out nearly 90 activities distributed between the Auditorium, the workshop, the Ágora, the Wine Circus and the Aula de Cultura Cervecera in addition to the activities carried out in the spaces of the exhibitors such as those of Estrella Galicia, the Consellería do Medio Rural, Economía social de Galicia representing the agricultural cooperatives, Cafés Candelas, Deputación de Pontevedra, Deputación de A Coruña, Gourmet El Corte Inglés or Siboney, among others.

Likewise, speakers and prescribers have expressed the success of this year’s thematic axis, the kitchens of the Atlantic, which has allowed to know the culinary tendencies of the diverse territories of the Atlantic, as for example the invited territory, the Canary Islands, which has brought to the Forum a representation of cooks and products of each one of its islands.

On the other hand, it is important to point out the high degree of satisfaction of the exhibitors, who have established numerous commercial contacts in a fair area that has grown by 20% with respect to the previous edition. It should also be noted that 250 companies took part, thus demonstrating that Forum is a reference event and a great business platform for companies in the sector in which large brands coexist in perfect harmony with small producers.

In addition, this year has opted for sectors such as machinery, which has further boosted the visit of a professional audience, as well as coffee or beer. It is also worth highlighting the leading role played by the wine sector, with more than 200 references represented at the fair and with numerous activities that have attracted sommeliers, oenologists and specialists.

The organisation of the Gastronomic Forum wishes to underline the support of the professional sector that has accompanied it since the first edition and makes this great event possible.
