The Galicia Tourism Cluster closes its participation in Fitur 2025 with a record number of 500 meetings in the networking space, enabled by the Xunta and the Tourism Agency at the Galicia Stand. There are 100 more meetings than last year and the highest number recorded since the Cluster participated in the International Tourism Fair. More than 1,500 professionals participated in these meetings in an edition in which the number of tables available was expanded to respond to the intense activity carried out by the Galician tourism sector at this fair.

This year, the demand for meetings requested by Galician inbound travel agencies, both large and small, has increased, with an increasingly diversified offer of their products. Another of the most active tourism subsectors has been the Galician hotel sector, which has registered a significant number of appointments with web search engines and booking engines.

The activity of city councils, provincial councils and associations has also been intense. Among others, professionals from the municipalities of A Coruña, Santiago, Ferrol, Ribeira, Padrón, Meis, Poio, Baiona and A Guarda have passed through the Cluster’s business space; in addition to the representatives of the councils of A Coruña, Lugo and Pontevedra; communities such as O Salnés, Ferrol Terra and Mariñas Coruñesas; and other entities such as the Ribeira Sacra Consortium, Expourense and Costa da Morte

In line with previous years, the Camino de Santiago continues to be one of the tourist attractions that attracts the greatest interest, although another customer profile is seen who seeks to live this experience in smaller groups with closer and more specialized treatment, online. with the demand for more sustainable tourism. Agencies specialized in this field registered up to 80 meetings in the networking space. The growing interest in luxury products also stands out.

Regarding international contacts, representatives from Mexico, Portugal and Colombia have been interested in Destination Galicia.
