• It will be held from October 1 to 5.
  • Galicia has been selected to host the event thanks to the proposal led by the Costa da Morte Tourist Association (CMAT).

The Annual Starlight Meeting is an unmissable event for the astrotourism community, as it brings together destinations with Starlight certification, monitors, guides and experts in the field. In these meetings, key aspects of astrotourism are discussed and future strategies are formulated, making it a reference event for professionals in the sector, nationally and internationally.

This will be the first Starlight Meeting to be held in Galicia, which has 7 Starlight Tourist Destinations: Atlantic Islands, Muras, Trevinca, Lalín, the Biosphere Reserve of Mariñas Coruñesas, Ancares Lucenses and Costa da Morte, in addition to offering camps, accommodation and companies that promote and respect the Starlight vision.

Costa da Morte is one of the newest members of the Starlight Network and has demonstrated great development and an effective astrotourism strategy. It includes 17 municipalities and the local tourism sector, committed and active in the initiatives promoted by CMAT (Costa da Morte Tourist Association).
