The deadline for the presentation of candidatures will be open until June 30.

The event will be held at the beginning of the fourth quarter of next year.

The third edition of the Turespaña Convention, to be held in San Sebastian from October 25 to 25, is still almost six months away, but the Spanish Tourism Institute has already begun the process to choose the city that will host the fourth convention, scheduled for the first days of October 2024.

Destinations interested in hosting this key meeting for the Spanish tourism sector must meet several requirements: have adequate hotel and congress infrastructure and accessibility, and design and offer participants a social and activity program. In addition, the level of adaptation of the venues to the needs of the Convention, the organizational capacity and the work team provided will be taken into account when assessing the candidatures.

Cities interested in hosting the Turespaña Convention will have until June 30 of this year to submit their applications. The name of the chosen destination will be announced on July 31. Turespaña highlights that the Convention will bring together in the chosen city about 500 people, representing the tourism sector, both regional and local, as well as professionals in the field of tourism marketing and other key players in international air connectivity, as well as the team of Turespaña and its network of councils abroad. In addition, they point out that the Convention venue will benefit from a special prominence in the sessions and the economic impact that the celebration will entail.
