In order to diversify and promote all the itineraries of the Camino de Santiago, and with the purpose of distributing the pilgrimage along the various routes on the horizon of Xacobeo 2027, the Xunta de Galicia has just launched a new tourism product: ’27 charming places of 2027′.
Through this pilgrimage guide, different corners and lesser-known monuments of the Jacobean routes are shown. The document shows those small treasures and charming places distributed throughout the four provinces and the Jacobean itineraries.
The tourist product is a small sample of the Jacobean Caminos that run through Galicia for more than 1,500 km. They include everything from churches, castles, bridges, medieval roads, dolmens and blacksmiths, to islands and forts.
