At the end of 2024, the Galician Tourism Cluster and the Provincial Council of Pontevedra, with the support of the Xunta de Galicia – Turismo de Galicia, held the event “Networking Rías Baixas: Tourism that unites: Work networks for the formation of tourist experiences ”. An event that promoted knowledge of the tourism offer among Galician tourism agents, especially the most innovative proposals, and that sought to strengthen the marketing of the Galicia destination.

 

 

The event took place on December 19 at the Manuel Rivero Sociocultural Building in Lalín. There, the event began with institutional presentations in which the mayor of Lalín, José Crespo, the president of the Cluster, Cesáreo Pardal, the director of Tourism of Galicia, Xosé Merelles, and the head of the Tourism service of the Provincial Council of Galicia participated. Subsequently, the experts Inés Aguinaliu and José Luis Valencia, from the Tourism&Law company, were in charge of carrying out an intervention focused on the “Legal framework for the confrontation of tourist products and experiences. What can I do and what products or experiences should I not market?”

 

Once this first part was finished, the second phase of the day began: the networking workshop between the 21 receptive companies and the 55 selling companies, distributed as follows:
