The Xunta has opened the pre-registration for the third edition of its Tourism Startups Accelerator.
Turislab, the Accelerator of Tourism Startups launched by the Xunta de Galicia with the collaboration of several companies in the sector and the Galicia Tourism Cluster will continue for another year. This has been confirmed by those responsible for opening the pre-registration form for entrepreneurs interested in participating in the initiative.
Its promoters describe the recently concluded edition as successful, with more than a hundred projects participating, and point out that the continuity of Turislab will allow them to continue increasing the training offer, incorporating new contents to optimise the results in effective market outings and to continue harvesting new success stories that improve the sector in Galicia. In addition, they explain that the Accelerator “already has its own consolidated ecosystem that continues to grow, made up of driving companies from different sectors, investment funds and collaborating entities”.
The opening of the pre-registration form will allow those responsible for all those projects interested in participating in the third edition of Turislab to communicate it now and present the ideas and models of their project in the previous phase.
Boldest, an interactive map platform to improve the promotion of tourism projects; Wonder Experience, a gamified tourism experience platform, and Spa’Relajarse, a search engine specialising in wellness, received the three awards at the second edition of Turislab, in which the technology developer to promote active tourism, TricTrack, also received a special mention. The Cluster’s vice-president, Jesús Picallo, represented the Cluster at the awards ceremony held in mid-December.
