The Provincial Council of Pontevedra and Turismo Rías Baixas launch their new campaign under the motto “When do you come back?”, an innovative commitment to highlight rural and inland tourism in the province of Pontevedra. The project, presented at an event held in the garden of the Numa Experimental hotel in Tomeza, focuses on highlighting the sustainability, authenticity and unique experiences offered by the 61 municipalities of the province.
For the first time, the Provincial Council of Pontevedra, led by its president, Luis López Diéguez, presented the campaign to the local public before its national and international launch at the International Tourism Fair (FITUR) in Madrid. During the event, López stressed the value of showing that the interior of the province is as representative of the Rías Baixas as its coast: “The river, the valleys and the traditions of the interior are the soul of this extraordinary province, and they deserve to be protagonists ”.
The representative of Tourism, Nava Castro Domínguez, the treasurer of the Galician Tourism Cluster, Alfonso Martínez, and members of the provincial government also participated in the event.
The campaign is part of the Rías Baixas Tourism 61 Strategy, designed to consolidate the province’s position as a tourism leader in Galicia. With a 25% increase in foreign tourists, and a third of visitors coming from outside Spain, the plan is committed to deseasonalization and the promotion of unique experiences.
The campaign will be officially presented next Thursday at FITUR, where the prominence of the interior will be combined with the cultural and artistic offer of the province, such as the return of the Art Biennial. The initiative reinforces the invitation to explore an “infinite and unrepeatable” destination that promises to captivate both national and international visitors.
