The Gastronomic Autumn in rural tourism in Galicia returns for its 19th edition in 2025 with a special message: support establishments located in municipalities that suffered this summer’s fires. The presentation event took place at the Retiro do Conde in Monterrei and was attended by the Director of Tourism of Galicia, Xosé Merelles, and the President of the Galician Tourism Cluster, Cesáreo Pardal, who were accompanied by the managers of the host accommodation and other organizations such as Fegatur.

• 78 participating establishments

This year, 78 establishments are participating, spread across the four provinces: 21 in A Coruña, 22 in Lugo, 16 in Ourense, and 19 in Pontevedra. Of these, 11 are located in municipalities affected by the fire, representing 14% of the total.

The program, promoted by Turismo de Galicia in collaboration with the rural guesthouse network, offers various options: from gastronomic menus without accommodation to one- or two-night packages, including family weekends. In addition, 26 of the establishments offer complementary activities under the Otoño Plus program, with options such as horseback riding, hiking, kayaking, and winery visits.

In its 18 previous editions, the Gastronomic Autumn Festival raised more than €6.6 million in the sector, attracting more than 100,000 participants. This year’s edition will be accompanied by a reinforced promotional campaign, with the participation of social media influencers, contests, promotional materials in Spanish and Galician, and urban and metropolitan transportation initiatives in several cities.
