This European Cultural itinerary, which belongs to the Council of Europe, brings together 41 botanical spaces in Europe, relevant for their historical, artistic and botanical value.

 

The director of Tourism of Galicia, Nava Castro, announced that the Pazo de Mariñán, the Alameda de Santiago de Compostela, the Pazo de Santa Cruz de Ribadulla, the Pazo de Oca, the Pazo de Rubiáns, the Pazo Quinteiro will be incorporated into this Network da Cruz, the Pazo de Lourizán, the Castle of Soutomaior and the Pazo Museo de Quiñones de León. All these gardens are part of the Camellia Route, and where the largest collection and variety of camellias in Europe are found.

 

The Director of Tourism of Galicia concluded by highlighting the importance of natural heritage in promoting tourism as a differentiating resource for our community.
