Experts and professionals will speak on December 17 and 18 in Pontevedra about the use of new technologies and the challenges of post-Covid tourism

The industry must go hand in hand with knowledge, with the support of public administrations to anticipate changes in business and in consumer areas after the pandemic, according to the president of the Galicia Tourism Cluster, Cesáreo Pardal, said today in Pontevedra .

Cesáreo Pardal presented, together with the president of the Pontevedra Provincial Council, Carmela Silva, the conference “Reinventing the present”, which will take place at the Pontevedra Provincial Palace on December 17 and 18 and can be followed electronically.

The keynote presentation will be about Smart Tourist Destinations (DTI) on Red.es, the platform for promoting the digital economy of the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Digital Transformation of the Government of Spain.

From there, the interventions will be developed around three thematic axes:

  • the “tourism in times of Covid”;
  • the “digital talent for the new tourism”
  • and “data economy and business communication”.
