One more edition will maintain the management of the working space of the stand in Galicia at the International Tourism Fair

Among this year’s novelties, the CTG brings its Presume de Galicia initiative to Madrid

The Galician Tourism Cluster will participate in the International Tourism Fair, Fitur, which will be held from 17 to 21 January in Madrid and will bring some new developments with respect to their participation in past editions. Thus, in addition to the management of the working space of the Galician stand, the Cluster gains presence in the Galician stand through two spaces: one dedicated to the products and marketing initiatives that it has launched to date, which will occupy a corner of the Galician stand, where information will be offered on wine tourism, active tourism, family tourism or sports. The second space will be dynamic. This is the first time to bring the Presume de Galicia initiative to Madrid, which will make this great community of lovers of Galicia more known, offering information and giving the option of taking photographs at the stand in Galicia boasting territory.

“Fitur is still one of the major events in the sector, the first of the year, and we are glad to see that the Galician tourism sector is gaining muscle in recent years, improving figures. These meetings serve us to take stock of the year but, above all, they are useful to set the objectives we are going to work on in 2018. Undoubtedly, 2017 has been a great year for the Galician tourism sector but we have a lot of work ahead of us,”explains the president of the Galician Tourism Cluster, Francisco González,

In addition to these two novelties, the Galician Tourism Cluster will also be the protagonist of one of the presentations, which will take place on Friday, January 19, from 13h. Under the title “New initiatives for the commercialisation of tourism in Galicia”, the CTG will bring the proposals in which it is working together with the sector and the public administration to improve Galician tourism offer closer to the professional sector that is coming together in Madrid. The presentation will be given by the president of the CTG, Francisco González, who will be accompanied by the director of Tourism of Galicia, Nava Castro.

In addition to this presentation, it should be noted that the Galician Tourism Cluster maintains a very active presence in the first professional event of the year through the management of the workspace with which, once again, the Galician sector has to maintain its professional meetings. Through the management of the agenda and 14 work tables, professionals in the sector will be able to develop their meetings and B2B meetings during the days dedicated to the professional sector in a 30-minute strip, to make it easier for anyone who needs it to have a space equipped for this purpose.
