  • The agreement between Cluster and ME Renewing facilitates companies in the sector to install energy charging points.

The agreement between the Galician Tourism Cluster and Mota-Engil Renewingcontinues to gain momentum, with more than 40 tourism companies interested in installing charging points for electric vehicles in their establishments. This initiative, which facilitates the adaptation of the sector to energy transition in need of investment by companies, aroused great interest in the sector.

A cost-effective model with shared benefits

Thanks to this agreement, tourist entities only need to have adequate space, while Mota-Engil Renewing, through its subsidiary Remo Mobility, after studying and analyzing the opportunity, is responsible for the installation, operation and maintenance of the charging stations. In addition, participating companies will be able to benefit from a shared revenue model based on the use of charging points and other factors such as location, network access or business activity.

Bet on sustainability and competitiveness

This initiative reinforces the commitment of the Galician tourism sector to sustainability and responds to the growing demand for charging services from travelers who opt for electric mobility. In addition, it boosts the local economy, since the installation process will rely on Galician companies and technology with a European guarantee.
