The Higher Hospitality Center of Galicia, a reference in training in Hospitality Management, Cooking and Gastronomy and Galicia and internationally, has four exclusive grants that cover 100% of the accommodation in the CSHG residence for those people who want to study the new 1-year degree: Higher Chef Course in Cooking and Pastry. It should be noted that, in addition, there are scholarships for income and grade that cover up to 80% of the tuition fee.

This Higher Course has 24 places, 11 own scholarships, 1,000 hours of training with 80% of practical classes, 3 months of internships in top-level restaurants, 17 Michelin Star masterclasses and references in gastronomic trends and 7 visits to companies and activities with the producing sector. The Course provides the necessary training to become a professional chef with the essential skills and knowledge in the world of restaurants and gastronomy. In addition, the training ends with a final degree project organized in small groups that, forming a team, will manage the à la carte restaurant for a week.

The requirements to be able to enroll are to have at least 6 months’ experience in a hospitality business and pass a personal interview remotely or in person. Registration remains open until September. If you are interested in benefiting from this aid, you can send an email to secretariatecnica@clusterturismogalicia.com, expressing your interest and indicating your personal information (full name, telephone number and contact email). Requests will be attended to in strict order of arrival. In the case of receiving more applications than available places, these will be placed in reserve, since it is the CSHG that carries out the selection of the candidates.
