This year, Galicia Tourism will provide 50,000 euros for the design and marketing of tourism products.

 

The agreement signed last year between the Professional Association of Tourist Guides of Galicia (an entity associated with the Galicia Tourism Cluster) and the Galicia Tourism Agency to promote the professionalization of the sector and encourage the design and marketing of new tourism products has continuity during this 2022. This has been highlighted by the director of Galicia Tourism Agency, Nava Castro, during her participation in A Coruña in the launch of one of the projects materialized thanks to this agreement.

 

The creation of product in the Way of St. Jamesand other environments, and the adaptation to the 2030 Agenda and its Sustainable Development Goals are the main axes of this collaboration that started in 2021 with a first allocation of 170,000 euros and with which it is also intended to bet on the attractions of new destinations and encourage the creation of new businesses in less common places. This year, Galicia Tourism will allocate another 50,000 euros to continue the initiative.

 

Enjoy the Vigo Stuary Way, Enjoy The Way in Caldas de Reis, Dramatised visits in Santiago, Hairy Visits (Portuguese Way), Way of the shells, Camiñando por Cabreiroá, Way of the flavours in Valdeorras, Galicia Markets and A Coruña Heroins are the products already developed. The Professional Association of Galician Tourist Guides announced that they will soon be organising a competition of ideas to select the products that will be financed through the new agreement.
