Valladolid hosts this week what will be the 26th edition of Intur, the International Inland Tourism Fair, a reference event for inland tourism in the Iberian Peninsula and a pioneer in the commitment for the promotion and dissemination of this segment of activity.

 

Intur will start next Thursday, November 16, with the day for professionals in the sector: Intur Negocios, a work scenario in which all the segments that shape the business participate. inland tourism: travel agencies, tour operators, accommodation, destinations, experiences, MICE, food and wine tourism, health tourism and transportation, among others.

The professional day articulates its contents around three spaces: a hiring market, an exhibition area, and an analysis forum (Intur Talks) in which aspects such as the impact of heritage on inland tourism, the keys of promotion abroad, or the importance of gastronomy as a lever for destinations.

 

Nearly 70 national and international tour operators will participate in Intur B2B. The profile of these buyers includes both consolidated and local markets, as well as growing distant destinations. The event will feature representatives from Belgium, Chile, China, the United States, Indonesia, the Netherlands, Portugal, the United Kingdom and Taiwan. A dozen companies associated with the Galicia Tourism Cluster will take part in the Intur Negocios recruitment pool: Iberik Hoteles, Alda Hotels, Naviaventours Viaxes, Eurostars, Tee Travel, Naturmaz Viajes, Mares do Grove, Naviera Nabia, Sailway, Experiencias del Destino, Hotel Carlos I Silgar, Hotel Alfonso IX, Complejo Natural Cemar and Easy Galicia.

 

From Friday, November 17 to Sunday, November 19, the section of the fair open to the general public will be held. Intur Viajeros encompasses the proposals of more than a thousand destinations, companies and professional groups. In addition, organized by Escapada Rural, the search for the Capital of Rural Tourism will begin at Intur Viajeros, a title that Campo Lameiro holds in 2023.
