With the aim of making Galicia known as an active and healthy destination, while promoting the diverse offer that our territory offers in this matter, Expourense will host from 17 to 19 November the first edition of SPORTUR Galicia, the Sports Hall And the Active Tourism that will be celebrated in Ourense coinciding with the Popular Race of San Martiño that every year attracts to the capital of the Burgas to hundreds of athletes.

The event, which has the collaboration of Axencia de Turismo de Galicia and the General Secretariat for Sport, is called to become a meeting point for all types of public who want to know the services, products and options linked to tourism Active and the sport that the exhibitors offer among which they will have capacity from municipalities to companies of equipments for the sport and the adventure or specialized in the sale of tourist packages that include activities of this type. There will also be a space dedicated to the various associations and sports federations of Galicia so that they can promote the activities they organize. This event will be centered in Galicia but is also open to exhibitors from other communities or countries who want to present their active tourism or sporting destinations.

The exhibition space of this room will be complemented with the organization of parallel activities such as seminars and specialized talks (physical preparation, prevention of sports injuries, nutrition, management of sports infrastructures, …), presentation of the tourist destinations participating in this event, Sports exhibitions, etc. In the professional field, networking actions will be organized between companies and potential buyers.
