In this process of listening to the sector will be held a total of 28 tables of experts

Profitability, management success, tourism in natural areas, changes in the behavior of travelers, mobility, internationalization or recovery of our heritage are some of the many issues that have been addressed in the first ten workbenches which have already taken place in the development of Estratexia Turismo Galicia 2020 which is carrying out the Cluster Turismo Galicia task entrusted by the Tourism of Galicia for the development of the roadmap for the tourism sector on the horizon 2020.

To date, developed 10 of the 16 tables initially scheduled in pirmera rounds of listening and diagnostics sector, which has allowed involving a hundred professionals, teachers and experts in the different themes in which they divieron the tables. A second round consisting of 12 tables for validation of conclusions will be held. When the diagnostic process is completed through the tables of participation, over 200 people have taken part in the process in a total of 28 tables of analysis and diagnosis of the main characteristics and future challenges facing tourism in Galicia .

Furthermore, to improve the accessibility and participation of the experts, the tables are being held in the four Galician provinces and tourist spots such as the Ribeira Sacra, Lugo, Vigo, Ourense Fisterra or, to mention a few points. Throughout this October they will continue to be held in Sanxenxo, Pontevedra, Monforte, A Ulla, Mondariz Spa and Santiago de Compostela tables remaining work. The process of listening and diagnosis is also complete with an online survey open to receive input from all industry professionals who want to contribute to this process, which should be completed by the end of the year.
