The Galicia Destination Golf Association presented this morning the website ‘Galicia Golf Salud’ in an event that was broadcast for virtual monitoring in which the director of Tourism of Galicia, Nava Castro, the president of the Galicia Tourism Cluster, Cesáreo Pardal and the general secretary of Galicia Destino Golf, Javier de la Cerda.
The objective of the website is to create “a Spanish-Portuguese network of collaboration between tour operators specialized in golf, tournament organizers, golf professionals who organize getaways with their students and those golf courses, both in Portugal and the rest of Spain. interested in signing correspondence agreements with our selected fields ”, explained Javier de la Cerda.
It is an informative space, and not a reservation website, in which users can directly contact the hotels and golf courses that have been selected in principle. In the future, more golf courses, hotels, restaurants, wineries, travel agencies and other operators in the tourism sector interested in being part of this initiative will join.
Currently, at galiciagolfsalud.gal there is information on 6 golf courses, 5 hotels and two travel agencies that offer specific products for people who practice this sport.
