The president of the Galician Tourism Cluster, Cesáreo Paral, participates in the session “The future of tourism” of the Mirando por la Tierra Forum, organized by Grupo Bela

Analyzing what the future of tourism will be like has been the objective of one of the sessions of the Photo Mirando por la Tierra, which takes place in the Baldomero Torres de Cee Auditorium, organized by Grupo Bela, in Fisterra. The mayor of Cee, Margarita Lamela; the president of the Galicia Tourism Cluster, Cesáreo Pardal; the director of the Forum and director of Grupo Bela, Pepe Formoso; the historian Antón Pombo; the director of the Parador Costa da Morte, Julio Castro Marcote; the director of Tourism Promotion of Galicia, Carmen Pita; the Director of Innovation and Digital Tourism of Tenerife, Terry Mederos; the general director of Major Festivities of the Seville City Council; Carlos García Lara; the manager of Incolsa, Turismo de Santiago, Flavia Ramil; the manager of the Retiro de Costiña restaurant, Manuel Costiña and representatives of travel agencies.

The participants agreed on the need to plan the tourism of the future and analyze what its characteristics will be after the Covid19 pandemic. In this sense, Cesáreo Pardal said that Galicia has an advantage in this process, by offering a safe destination, not very crowded and in contact with nature. In the same vein, the director of Tourism Promotion of Galicia stated that “when visitors have wanted natural tourism and a truly authentic experience, they have sought Galicia, it is a reality based on data. But it is evident that we cannot sleep and we have to look for improvements ”.
