The University of Vigo opens the registration period for the Master’s Degree in Management and Planning of Domestic and Health Tourism, an official qualification that is valid throughout the European Higher Education Area. The course is held in a single year (September-July) and combines theoretical training with the study and implementation of practical cases linked to the tourism sector.

The Master, which has more than 10 years of experience, starting in 2006 as an Official Master in Tourism Management and Planning, prepares its students in disciplines such as tourism management, tourism marketing or tourism planning. In addition, part of the program is focused on its specialization: the interior tourism and the tourism of health and it is offered in three routes of accomplishment: presential, semi-presential or totally on line, adapting this way to the needs and hourly availability of each student.

The quality of the programme and the teaching staff (academics, researchers and professionals from the tourism sector), the level of specialisation and the capacity it offers for carrying out work experience in companies, together with a teaching methodology that prioritises teamwork and presents the possibility of learning through the analysis and resolution of real cases, as well as the experiences and knowledge transmitted by the teachers, mean that this Master’s is suitable for the labour market, and therefore offers real possibilities in terms of employment.

Those interested can already register from 25 June to 1 July. The master offers a total of 40 places distributed among the three modalities offered. All the information can be accessed through its website: www.masterturismoourense.es. You can also contact your coordinator directly at info@masterturismoourense.es or by calling +34 988 368865.
