The program runs from 15 to 17 November at the fairgrounds in Ourense and includes the programming of more than a hundred activities including a presentation of the brand Galicia Active Destination

Just over 8 thousand square meters, 125 exhibitors and more than a hundred scheduled activities are some of the first figures handled by the organization of the Sport and Active Sportur Tourism Fair, held in Expourense from 15 to 17 November. With novelty in this edition, in addition to the exhibitors from Galicia and Portugal, will highlight the large number of activities and the possibility of having the athletics track covered. The final objective is to put the value of the potential of fairgrounds such as Ourensano to host sporting tourism events, while making known the regional offer with a view to its internationalization, strengthening the binomial tourism-sport, two very important sectors, with resources distributed throughout the territory, and has put the focus on the workshops of the event as highlighted the director of Tourism of Galicia, Nava Castro, who participated in the presentation of the event.

These types of events also serve to strengthen Ourense as an “optimum” city for active and healthy tourism, making it visible that “sport and tourism go hand in hand” and that they are a “business opportunity”, a business opportunity that will these days have its core in the city of Burgas, coinciding with the celebration of the popular race of San Martiño, in which 11,036 people will participate.
