The Spring of Open Doors 2024 on the Galician Wine Routes advances towards its last weekend with the help of the DO Monterrei

  • The initiative has covered the rest of the wine routes during this month of Mallo
  • The participants have been able to enjoy different activities framed in the context of wine tourism

This weekend the last days of the 2024 edition of the Spring of Open Doors on the Galician Wine Routes will be held, a proposal promoted by Turismo de Galicia and the Enoturgalicia brand, of which the Cluster and the five Associations are part of the Wine Routes of the 5 Denominations of Origin.

 

The initiative, launched on May 3 in the Valdeorras DO, has already covered several wine-growing areas, passing through the Rías Baixas DO area (May 10 to 12), the Ribeiro DO (May 17 to 19) and the DO Ribeira Sacra (May 24 to 26). It will be the Monterrei DO that puts the finishing touch, from May 31 to June 2.

 

Among the activities offered on each route, participants have been able to enjoy free guided tours of the wineries registered in the promotion, special menus designed specifically for the occasion in different restaurants or taking advantage of special prices at participating accommodations.

 

The program is completed with the launch of the Wine Buses, which depart from the main Galician cities to bring participants to the different routes and associated establishments. In addition to having complementary activities such as blind tastings, boat trips, cultural visits and even astronomical observation.
