The Xunta de Galicia has opened the period for the presentation of applications for aid, under a non-competitive regime, to town councils declared as tourist municipalities and to geodestines in Galicia for the hiring of personnel in tourist offices, which in this call are extended from May to September, one month more than in the previous call.

The deadline for applying for this aid is open until 11 March and it will be an essential requirement that the local council has been declared a Galician tourist municipality and, if bodies representing geodestins apply for the subsidy, the local council in which the staff hired under these subsidies will work must be designated.

In addition, as a measure to promote employment, personnel who are hired must appear as having been dismissed or as having applied for a better job in the Galician Public Employment Service.

Budget of 450,000 euros
The grants covered by this call will have a global credit of 450,000 euros. Eligible actions may receive a maximum of 7,000 euros per beneficiary entity, provided that the eligible expenses are equal to or greater than this amount.
