Within the training activities planned for 2020 for the tourism sector in Galicia, Tourism of Galicia has opened the registration period for a Management and Catering Companies Course for owners and managers or people who are currently holding positions of responsibility in the management of catering companies, which will take place in April.

The aim of this course is to provide practical management tools for a restaurant, with the twofold objective of offering an improvement in the quality of services to enhance the perception of
tourists visiting Galicia, and on the other hand improve the profitability of the business through a excellent management of its material and professional resources in the face of the challenges facing the sector for the Jacobean 21.
The course with a duration of 50 hours will be semi-presential, with 80% of the training in the CSHG, distributed in 5 days of Mondays, in the months of April and May. It will consist of training modules:
management and administration of resources in catering, menu and menu analysis and management food and beverage, HR management and optimization, ICT tools for management of the restaurant and new restaurant models.
This course, organized in collaboration with the USC, will be taught by professors from the CSHG, and the Students who pass this test will be entitled to a diploma issued by Turismo de Galicia and the USC recognized with 5 ETCS credits.
