  • Tourism of Galicia allocates 90,000 euros to carry out the internships.
  • Scholarships of up to 6 months in the offices located in A Coruña, Lugo, Ourense, Pontevedra, Vigo and Santiago de Compostela.

During 2024, and for 6 months, 14 people will be able to do internships in the tourist information offices of our community. The breakdown would be as follows:

 

4 scholarships at the Galicia Tourism offices in Santiago de Compostela (2 on Vilar street and 2 on Carretas street) and 2 places in each of the offices in A Coruña, Lugo, Ourense, Pontevedra and Vigo.

 

The deadline to apply for these scholarships began on March 19 and ends on April 18. They will be granted on a competitive basis and taking into account compliance with the requirements, the assessment of merits and the personal interview.

 

Those interested must be in possession of one of these qualifications: degree in tourism, senior technician in travel agencies and event management. Or senior technician in guidance, information and assistance.

 

Knowledge of the Galician language, Celga level 4, advanced level or equivalent qualification is also essential. In the case of English, they will have to have the B1 certificate of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages ​​or higher.

 

People who benefit from these scholarships will not be able to have paid employment or receive unemployment benefits. The complete bases can be consulted in the DOG.

 

These grants are part of the commitment that Turismo de Galicia has to offer practical training to tourism professionals while reinforcing the professionalization of the services that Galicia offers to all its visitors.
