Axencia de Turismo de Galicia

The Balneario de Mondariz Hotel hosted the presentation of the geodetic Paradanta County, led by the municipality of Ponteareas and composed of these municipalities and those of A Cañiza, As Neves, Arbo, Covelo, Crescent, Mondariz, Mondariz Balneario, Salvaterra and Salceda de Caselas. An initiative that arises with the objective of positioning the two regions in the calendar of tourists through the promotion of their natural, heritage, ethnographic and gastronomic resources.

For this, the geodetic county of Paradanta has a website and a tourist guide for the area and a map that will guide visitors through not only environmental and historical but also gastronomic routes offering a package of tourism that links wine and water and promotional materials. All this has been possible to carry out thanks to the agreement signed between the Axencia Galega de Turismo and the geodestino and has had an investment of 30,000 euros for this 2017.

In the presentation of the geodestino were present the president of the GDR and Mayor of A Cañiza, Miguel Domínguez; the President of the geodestino and Mayor of Ponteareas, Xosé Represas; the technicians responsible for the project of the companies AVIVAE E INICIACTIVA; the general director of Tourism of the Xunta de Galicia, Nava Castro and the Mayor of Mondariz Balneario, José Antonio Lorenzo.
