  • The call is open to accommodation and restaurant establishments.

Tourism companies in Galicia have until November 14, 2024 to request aid to improve energy efficiency in their establishments. This call, promoted by Turismo de Galicia and financed with 10 million euros from European funds, is open to both accommodation and restaurant establishments.

The call allows obtaining up to 70% subsidy on the total cost of the project, with the possibility of increasing to 80% or even 90% if significant savings in non-renewable primary energy are demonstrated. The aid covers a wide range of actions, from improving the thermal envelope to the installation of photovoltaic systems and the renovation of household appliances.

New features of this edition include the elimination of the minimum age of buildings and the possibility of rehabilitating only parts of a building instead of requiring complete renovation.

Eligible expenses must be incurred before April 2025, which provides Galician tourism companies with a significant opportunity to update their facilities and adopt more sustainable and efficient practices. The translation can be done through the electronic headquarters of the Xunta de Galicia, procedure code: TU986B.
