The Cluster joins the Spanish Tourism Board

The membership, agreed by the Board of Directors, was ratified at its members’ meeting held in Madrid in the presence of the Cluster’s president, Cesáreo Pardal.

 

The Board is made up of personalities, companies and professionals from the sector and its main objective is the study and dissemination of the importance of tourism as a factor of economic and social development.

 

The Galicia Tourism Cluster is already part of the Spanish Tourism Board, an entity that defines itself as “a group of meeting, dialogue and states of opinion formed by about a hundred prominent personalities, companies and professionals of the Spanish private tourism sector” and whose main objective is the “study, private coordination and dissemination of the role of tourism in the framework of the market economy, as an essential factor of economic and social development.

 

The incorporation of the Cluster had been approved by the Board of Directors of the entity chaired by the businessman Juan Molas Marcellés and has been ratified in the ordinary annual meeting of the Bureau held this Wednesday, February 15, in Madrid, and in which the president of the Cluster, Cesáreo Pardal, was already present to formalize the adhesion.

 

At the same meeting, Charo Trabado, CEO and RMP & Co-founder of GSAR Marketing-MITM Events; Víctor Moneo, Director of Alliances and Strategic Agreements of Iberia; Luigi Stefanelli, General Manager of Costa Cruceros Spain and Portugal; Paula Morales, Director of the Trade Fair Area of the Trade Fair and Congress Center of Málaga; and Gustavo López Patto, President of the Hotel Emperador, also joined the Board. In addition, the digital services company oriented to tourism and guided tours Guidum has become a Collaborating Company.

 

The Bureau is made up of prominent personalities such as the director of the Thyssen-Bornemisza National Museum, Evelio Acevedo; the general secretary of Tourism of Andalusia, Yolanda de Aguilar; the president of OPC Spain, Matilde Almandoz; the director of ALSA, Isaac Álvarez; the president of the Spanish Federation of Campsite Entrepreneurs, Ana Beriain Apesteguia; the general director of IFEMA, Juan Arriazabalaga; the executive president of Air Nostrum, Carlos Bartomeu Martínez; the Communication Director of Iberia, Juan Cierzo; the founding partner of Reiniziat and Observatur, Marcos Franco Maganto; the Vice-President of the Spanish Confederation of Travel Agencies, Carlos Garrido; the President of Globalia, Juan José Hidalgo; the President of the Hotusa Group, Amancio López Seijas, and the President of the Institute for Spanish Tourism Quality, Miguel Mirones; the Commercial Director of Amadeus Spain, David Vidal Cabaleiro, and the President of Enoturismo de España, José Antonio Vidal, among others.
