The Carlos Oroza Integrated Vocational Training Center (CIFP) in Pontevedra has just opened registration for exclusive training in restaurant services, specifically aimed at employees of companies associated with the Galician Tourism Cluster.

  • Official Certification from the Xunta (Government of Galicia)

This is a free, four-month, 450-hour program, held in the afternoon, which will allow participants to obtain an official Professional Certificate from the Xunta de Galicia (Level 2), recognized nationwide. This certification also facilitates the possibility of continuing vocational training studies and recognizing modules from a Medium-Level Course in Restaurant Services.

  • The course allows for skills reinforcement and experience validation

The training program is comprised of five modules: communication techniques, safety and hygiene in food handling, professional English, restaurant services and special events, and a personal program for employability. With this program, industry professionals will be able to strengthen their skills, validate their previous experience, and improve their employability.

The course represents a unique opportunity for current employees of the Cluster’s partner companies, who will be able to access practical and qualified training free of charge. Those interested can obtain more information by contacting the center directly at 886 159 545 or by emailing cifp.carlos.oroza@edu.xunta.gal
