Tourism professionals participated in seminars on the international marketing of tourism products in Ourense and Santiago de Compostela with the aim of preparing their next participation in the World Travel Market in London. The workshops are part of the third Training Plan promoted by the Galician Tourism Cluster with the collaboration of the Galician Tourism Agency and given by IFFE Business School.
This internationalization workshop aims to show the participating professionals the main techniques of international marketing of tourist products, how to select the target markets and the channels through which to access these foreign markets, in order to enhance and improve the competitiveness of their companies. In addition, in order to be able to prepare and improve the results of participation in international fairs, this workshop includes a specific module aimed at this purpose, especially indicated for those companies and professionals who are going to take part in the World Travel Market of the month of November.
The training was given by José Miguel Alarcón, consultant partner of AbTur Asesores, and Mercedes Carballo, director of Crearte Servizos Culturais, who was in charge of teaching the specific module aimed at preparing and improving the results of the participation in international fairs.
