ASNAUGA leads the Blue Flags of marinas in Galicia with 80% of the total

A total of 15 Galician marinas this year wave the Blue Flag, the distinction awarded by the European body ADEAC-FEEE, of which 12 are Yacht Clubs belonging to  Galician Nautical Association (ASNAUGA): Monte Real Club de Yates, Club Social Moaña Mar, Real Club Náutico de Rodeira, Club Náutico de Portonovo, Club Náutico San Vicente do Mar, Real Club Náutico de A Coruña, Club Náutico de Sada, Club Náutico Ría de Ares, Club Náutico de Camariñas, Club Náutico de Boiro, Real Club Náutico de Ribadeo and Real Club Náutico de Portosin.

All of them have been awarded the Blue Flag in the Nautical Sports Facilities sector, a recognition of their work over several years and their compliance with European environmental and accessibility legislation.

In addition to the Blue Flag, ASNAUGA also leads the environmental and quality certifications in Galicia with 92% of the “Q” quality certifications of marinas, 100% of EMAS and ISO 14001. 57.14% of the clubs and marinas in Spain with a “Q” for quality are in Galicia and belong to the Asnauga, which encourages this entity to continue working for quality and to be a reference throughout Spain and Europe.

These standards of quality of service and environment, in the specific field of nautical-sports facilities, nautical club or marina, marks some requirements to meet that define the level of customer service, increasing the added value of the facility itself, but taking into account the importance of tourism for each municipality the contribution, both economic and image, that each nautical-sports area can make to its community of citizens to be recipients of a large number of visitors and tourists.
