The fair specialized in sports tourism once again highlighted the different sports options that can be part of a healthy lifestyle while the ideal destinations and scenarios for the practices.

The third edition and Sportur Galicia closed its doors in Expourense after making visible for two days (three are also the First Iberian Congress of Sport Tourism) the good times that live the sport and active tourism in Galicia and also in northern Portugal. During this time more than 10 visitors gathered at the fairground in Ourense and participated in a multitude of championships and tournaments of autonomous character such as the II Kickboxing Sportur Tournament, the Ancient Fencing Tournament Ciudad de las Burgas, the absolute trophies of weightlifting in Galicia, the kung-fu and taekwondo tournaments, the Galician block climbing championship or the Chess Tournament Ciudad de Ourense, among other sporting events.

In total there were 60 activities among which athletics was one of the great protagonists to be Sportur the point of collection of the numbers of the Race of San Martiño that was held on Sunday in the city of Burgas. Sportur Galicia put in value once more the different sport options that can form part of a healthy lifestyle at the same time that the destinations and ideal scenarios for the practices, from the North of Galicia with the presence of the Ice Destination Ferrol- Rías Altas or Viviero up to the north of Portugal happening through city councils of the province of Ourense up to the only Station of Mountain of Galicia in Manzaneda. These destinations also had the opportunity to meet with a fortnight of travel agencies specializing in active tourism within the III Workshop of Sportur Galicia.

Sportur Galicia was organised by Expourense with the collaboration of the General Secretariat for Sport and the Galician Tourism Agency, the Provincial Council of Ourense and the City Council of Ourense through the Conmcellería de Turismo.
