• The initiative recognizes the ambition of 10 large companies and SMEs that strive to develop innovative actions that lead them to be an example in the development of decarbonization strategies.
  • Candidacies can be submitted until September 15, 2024 through the official website.

#PorElClima Companies is an initiative of the #PorElClima Community that seeks to implement the Paris Agreement and the 2030 Agenda in the Spanish business environment, promoting the ambition of the private sector to combat the climate emergency and move towards decarbonization.

In this framework, the call ’10+10 business examples #PorElClima’ has been launched, which aims to give visibility and recognition to companies that are already acting against the climate emergency and promoting decarbonization actions.

This call will reward 10 large companies and 10 SMEs that stand out for their innovative actions and their commitment to reducing emissions. Participating companies must present ongoing actions with measurable results during 2023 or until March 31, 2024, or newly created initiatives that have clear objectives, although they have not yet presented results. Actions should focus on impact measurement, reduction of calculated emissions, public reporting of actions and social mobilization.

The reception of candidatures will be open until September 15, 2024, and can be formalized through the initiative’s website. A committee of experts will evaluate the applications starting September 16, and the final results will be published on the website on October 1, 2024.

This call is an opportunity for companies to demonstrate their leadership and commitment in the fight against climate change, serving as an example and motivation for the entire business sector.
