The initiative allowed to increase the visibility of the community of Presume de Galicia and the number of presumers and shared photographs

Ruta Presume de Galicia has covered a total of 10 sites in the four provinces totaling more than half thousand new presumers

Baiona was the last stop of the “Presume de Galicia Route”, a campaign promoted by the Cluster Turismo Galicia during the month of August in Galicia with the aim of making ambassadors of the Galicia brand to our visitors and neighbors. In total there have been ten tourist sites in the four provinces that have received the visit of Presume of Galicia during this month of August, time in which has been notably increased the number of presumers with more than 500 records and more nearly 600 photographs New, in which they appear more than 1500 people photographed. In addition, it has also managed to increase the recognition of the brand, thus fulfilling the objectives of the campaign.

The closing ceremony of the campaign was attended by the director of Tourism of Galicia, Nava Castro, who was accompanied by the delegate of the Xunta in Vigo, Ignacio López-Chaves as well as the mayor of Baiona, Ángel Rodal, councilors and representatives of the tourist sector of Baiona and of the province of Pontevedra.

For his part, the president of the Cluster Turismo Galicia, Francisco González, expressed his gratitude to all the people who have participated in the promotion during this month and to the institutions and municipalities that have collaborated to make possible the first Presume de Galicia Route. “It was the first time we took the initiative Presume de Galicia to the street and the results have been very satisfactory, we have increased users on the web and social networks, community participants and visibility for the brand that seeks to promote the Destination Galicia “.

Presume Galicia will continue to function on the web and its social networks, encouraging anyone who wants to upload a photograph “boasting of Galicia” to the web www.presumedegalicia.com to become a “presumidor” of Galicia and Opt to win prizes. The virtual community already has more than 200 thousand followers in the different social networks throughout its two years of existence and already has more than 3000 photos, 500 of which have been uploaded since the beginning of the Presume de Galicia Route.
