Continues to grow the number of travelers choosing holiday apartment as accommodation

According to data collected by the National Statistics Institute (INE) in May grew back the number of travelers staying in apartments in Galicia over the same period of 2015. Finally, the Galician rural tourism remained virtually stable compared to a year ago with a total of 17,719 travelers (+ 0.98%) and 26.308 overnight stays (+ 2.8%). The average stay is still less than two days (1.48 days) have increased their prices per 1.17%
If we see this sector of non-hotel accommodation (apartments, campsites, rural tourism and hostels) in Galicia were recorded in May a total of 22,271 overnight stays, 45% more than in 2015.
