The Cluster Tourism of Galicia and the Agency of Tourism of Galicia have signed an agreement to promote the associationism in the Galician tourism sector by virtue of which the public entity financially supports the maintenance of the necessary structure to favor the operation of the Cluster as an associated entity that groups 95% of the Galician tourism sector and that carries out tasks of public interest for the promotion of the associative fabric and the generation of synergies between companies of all the value chain of Galician tourism.
The agreement signed between both parties, with a total endowment of 36,500 euros, of which 33,000 euros will be contributed by Tourism of Galicia, aims to contribute to the ordinary functioning of the Cluster, as the only entity that brings together the entire value chain of the Galician tourism sector. Thus, the agreement includes items aimed at enabling the technical work of ordinary management, support for operational costs, multisectoral meetings and working groups, communication actions aimed at raising awareness of tourism as an important sector for the economic fabric in Galicia and collaboration actions in general with the regional administration.
By virtue of this agreement, both entities undertake to cooperate jointly in achieving these objectives and contributing to the promotion of the Galicia brand.
