Through the grant nine scholarships practical training for training centers and areas of study of Tourism Galicia, this entity will invest more than 45,000 euros to enable people to access these places increase their training and professional development, improving their knowledge and skills. Sheltered practices, to be developed in the tourist information offices in Santiago, Coruña, Pontevedra, Vigo and Lugo and the Department of Studies Research at the Competitiveness department for six months.

In the information offices, scholars serve visitors explaining the attractions of Galicia and resolving doubts. In this case, the distribution of seats offered was held giving three bags to Santiago de Compostela, one for International Pilgrim Reception Centre, and respective to A Coruña, Pontevedra, Vigo and Lugo. In the case of Research Studies department, the aim is to analyze the data of the tourism market, being one of the specialized travel bags and another in statistics.

The initiative responds to the continued efforts of the Xunta de Galicia in the formation of human resources, in this case to adapt to new demands performances of graduates who start or develop their activity in the tourism sector.
