In order to promote the professional development of future tourism professionals through training practices in various areas dependent on the Galician Tourism Agency, the Xunta de Galicia reconvenes its training scholarships for the years 2018 and 2018. In total there are nine grants, eight for practical training in the tourist information offices dependent on Tourism of Galicia, and one for practical training specialized in the area of studies and research with a maximum duration of 5 months from the date of incorporation of the scholarship holder for the first eight months and a maximum of 12 months for research.

The eight (8) specialised practical training exchanges for promotion and information will be developed through supervised internships in tourist information offices.
dependants of the Galician Tourism Agency distributed as follows: 2 scholarships in the tourist office of Santiago de Compostela (Mazarelos Square), 1 scholarship in the tourist office of Santiago de Compostela (International Pilgrim Welcome Centre), 1 in the tourism office of A Coruña, 1 in the tourist office of Pontevedra, 1 in the tourism office of Vigo, 1 in the tourist office of Lugo and one in the tourism office of Ourense.

In the case of the scholarship for specialized practical training in the area of studies and research, the scholarship holder’s tasks will be carried out in the offices of the Galician Tourism Agency of La Barcia (Santiago-Noia road, km 3,15897 Santiago de Compostela) and will consist of carrying out research, processing and analysis of data on tourism.
