Lugo will be the first Spanish city to host the National Congress on Experiential Tourism, which will bring together more than 50 personalities and professionals renowned for their knowledge and career in the tourism and cultural sector throughout Spain. The event will be held on September 16, 17 and 18 at the Pazo Provincial de San Marcos, and it will also be possible to follow it online.

The Congress was born with the intention of contributing to the adaptation of the tourism sector to the demand of an increasingly demanding leisure consumer and to the new situation generated after the Covid-19. During the meeting, new ideas and practical tools will be provided for entrepreneurs interested in offering a cultural, environmental and socially sustainable tourism, with analysis of success stories.

In addition, it will give visibility to the requests of the different platforms of the sector of Culture, Tourism, Events and Entertainment, as well as Nightlife.

7 thematic blocks
The congress is focused on 7 current and important thematic blocks within the tourism field, which will be developed during the tables and papers of the first two days of the congress. In addition, 2 workshops will be held and the third day will include 2 experiential training activities in destination (A Mariña Lucense and Ribeira Sacra).

“LugoExperience”, September 19 and 20
As an extension of the Congress, the weekend of September 19 and 20 will be held the event “LugoExperience”, a showcase of experiential activities in the province of Lugo. For two intense days, both those attending the Congress and all those seeking a unique experience will be able to enjoy the uniqueness of the walled city and its surroundings.
