Turismo de Galicia

With the aim of providing information on the actions and specific tourism products developed to date by the Galician Tourism Cluster in collaboration with its partners, one more edition this entity will again be present at the Galician Tourism Show (Turexpo) which runs parallel to the 42nd Abanca Green Week until Sunday. In addition, many of the companies of the Galician tourist sector also meet in this fair with the aim of participating in the Tourism Contracting Exchange, which brings together 48 international operators interested in attracting new tourism proposals in our territory, which makes this meeting an important business platform for tourism supply.

Operators from Germany, Brazil, USA, Finland, Italy, Ireland, Portugal, Russia, Sweden and Switzerland, as well as Spain, have until tomorrow professional meetings scheduled according to the interests of both parties, with special interest by many of these tour operators for nature and gastronomic tourism, or to establish contact with spas and spas, transport companies and companies of rural and active tourism.

Visit to Lugo and the Mariña Lucense

These business tables will be added on Friday afternoon 7 and Saturday 8 throughout the day a familiarization trip that will take to Lugo and the Mariña Lucense more than thirty of these tour operators participating in the Stock Exchange. Thus, on Friday will make a guided tour of the Roman Lugo, including a walk along the wall, the House of Mosaics and the Mitreo. They will have dinner in the pulpería “Aurora de O Carballiño” and will stay in the Hotel Méndez Núñez. On Saturday they will visit Viveiro, the eucalyptus tree of Chavín and the viewpoint of San Roque, as well as making a theatrical visit to the historic centre of the town. You will eat at the restaurant Las Sirenas and travel along the coast to the beach of As Catedrais. Afterwards you will go to Mondoñedo.

At the end of this fam trip, on Sunday morning the tour operators will take a guided tour of the historic centre of Santiago de Compostela.
