Turismo de Galicia

With the aim of giving visibility to marine environmental education proposals and offering products linked to maritime and diving tourism, the WOAH Route portal is already underway, www.wildsea.eu, which includes Galicia within its diving and sustainable tourism destinations, thanks to the collaboration agreement with Turismo de Galicia.

The portal offers the possibility for companies linked to this segment to offer their products to an international public from countries such as Portugal, United Kingdom, Ireland, Germany or the Netherlands, within the framework of this network of companies and tourist destinations that work together to promote marine ecotourism in Europe.

From the organization, in fact, insists on the need to have the participation of the private sector, offering visibility to their products and the option of being part of the transnational tourism products that will be developed in the framework of the WAOH! route, which will include other activities in addition to diving. The presence in the portal is free, it is only necessary to register the company to start publishing the proposal of activities.  They also offer the option of activating an optional booking engine, which they recommend to activate as the activities whose direct booking is facilitated through the portal become part of a digital marketing campaign that enhances their visibility. For Galician companies, thanks to the participation of Turismo de Galicia as promoter of the WAOH! Route, reservations made through the portal have an associated commission of only 10% (compared to 20% in other destinations).
