The Tourism Fair of Galicia, Turexpo, will reopen its doors between 7 and 10 June at the Silleda Green Week fairgrounds to host a large number of institutional and private stands, among which the Tourism of Galicia Cluster will also be present with its own stand. There will also be space for the Galician festivals of tourist interest, which will have their own space in Turexpo Galicia, through the Festur fair, or the usual Tourism Contracting Exchange, which will bring together a total of 43 tour operators from 12 countries such as Germany, Brazil, Canada, Denmark, France, Great Britain, Italy, Poland, Portugal, Russia and, for the first time in the show, Georgia. These international and national operators will be aware of the offer of numerous companies in the tourism sector, most of them Galician. They will be able to show their proposals in detail to tour operators so that they can incorporate them into their offers to their customers in their home countries. It will be through meetings scheduled according to the interests of both parties, which will take place during the first day and a half of the event.
Most of these tour operators established as preferences to know in these meetings proposals for gastronomy, wine tourism, leisure and culture, hotels, spas and spas, active tourism, wholesalers and travel agencies, also arousing interest in natural parks, rural tourism and service companies.
As a novelty in these business tables, for the first time, companies specializing in family tourism, singles travel and experience tourism, as well as important companies that market accommodation, are participating for the first time. The Tourism Contracting Exchange, which has the support of the Galician Tourism Agency, will once again be an unbeatable business platform for the participating companies and the Galician tourism sector.
Familiarization trip
To these business tables the Contracting Exchange will add a post-tour on Friday the 8th in the afternoon and on Saturday the 9th throughout the day, a familiarization trip that will take the tour operators to the Muros e Noia estuary and Fisterra. So, on Friday, you will go for a stroll through the old town of Noia and see a sunset at Castro de Baroña, and then have dinner in Porto do Son. On Saturday, they will board a wagon at the San Finx Mining Museum (Lousame) and visit both the Tambre hydroelectric power station and several lamprey fisheries. You will also sail along the Tambre, visit Ponte Nafonso and discover the estuary from the sea on the Joaquín Vieta sloop. After docking at the seafood port of O Freixo, you will eat and visit Muros and then head towards Fisterra. In the afternoon, you will visit Carnota, O Pindo and the Ezaro waterfall, as well as a small section of the Camiño dos Faros.
