The Department of Culture and Tourism has once again reactivated the deadline for submissions to benefit from the line of aid for certification, monitoring and renewal of the rules of the Q mark for Tourism Quality of the Institute for Spanish Tourism Quality (ICTE), which had to be stopped as a result of the suspension of administrative deadlines that were decreed with the declaration of the state of alarm.
Conscious of the impact of the sanitary crisis in the tourism, the Xunta of Galicia gives continuity to the process of this call with the intention of contributing to the reactivation of the tourist sector with this line of aids that counts on a global amount of 130,000 euros, which supposes an increase of 30% with respect to amount of the previous edition
Until June 2nd
The deadline for submitting the application is June 2. Both individuals and personal legal entities can apply, and for the first time this year, local councils can also apply. The aid, which will be processed on a competitive basis, includes the option of subsidizing the actions corresponding to the first certification, monitoring and/or renewal of the ICTE’s Q Tourist Quality mark this year, which will begin on 1 January 2020. The amounts will be those derived, exclusively, from the audit costs of the year 2020. The costs derived from the rights of use of the Q mark in the year 2020, once the certification, monitoring and/or renewal of the establishment has been achieved, invoiced by ICTE to the establishment will also be eligible.
The presentation of the applications will be carried out obligatorily by electronic means through the standard form available in the electronic headquarters of the Xunta de Galicia.
